DigiKitchen

Back in September 2015 I started at the UTC@MediaCityUK as part of my 2 year course studying Television & Film broadcasting. Autumn came and I was already working on my first two units with my two classmates Beth Beecher, and Paige Douglas (AKA the DigiKids).

Celebrating their 15th year in industry, the leading digital agency Magnetic North gave us the brief to create a short vision piece surrounding the ideas of future technology, and as part of the course we were to produce a corporate/promotional vision for a client.

Comining both briefs and researching the current makets, we came up with the idea of a digital kitchen that can be controlled by a smartphone, or as we like to call it, the "DigiKitchen". We wanted to create an alternative way in you can easily interact with your appliances. Imagine it, waking up with your kettle boiled and toast at the ready, out shopping and getting a text that your washing cycle is done! These are just some of the ways the digikitchen would make our lives simpler!

Our idea then got shortlisted to the final stage of the competition where we got to pitch the DigiKitchen to Magnetic North. Click here to find out more ->

Like mentioned previously, myself, Beth & Paige created a vision piece for our idea, fancy taking a look? -
